America’s Cry For Spiritual Healing

We normally keep our Mindvalley Weekly Digest to highlight some of the latest personal growth ideas out there. But we can’t ignore the events happening in the United States. As we emotionally seek to process the tragic deaths of George Floyd and countless others we want to let our American subscribers know that we stand with you in solidarity.

Mindvalley is one of the most diverse companies in the world. In our HQ we have employees from 50 different countries working together. And any form of discrimination is against the very core of our DNA. We stand with our black brothers and sisters in the United States protesting the injustice in the system.

So this week we’ll be sharing important information, conversations and ideas related to the current situation in the United States.

WISDOM OF THE WEEK

"Power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic. Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice, and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands against love."

MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.

An Important Conversation with Michael Beckwith & Iyanla Vanzant on Spiritual Healing

Mindvalley author Rev. Michael Bernard Beckwith recently hosted a beautiful conversation with black activists and writers, which is a crucial way for all of us to truly understand the emotions and feelings of a large section of America.

Featured in this conversation:

  • Civil rights attorney Ben Crump who has represented the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breeona Taylor, and Trayvon Martin;

  • Actor Ryan Bathe, on the challenge of raising her two African-American sons;

  • Spiritual teacher Iyanla Vanzant, on how to clear ancestral fear, rage and anger to pave a new, peaceful way forward;

  • And Reverend Kevin Ross, on honoring the outrage we feel, but learning how to transmute that feeling into the energy we all need to tear down the barriers of racism.

Lisa Nichols

Many of you in our community recognize Lisa Nichols as one of our most beloved Mindvalley teachers. But she is also a single black mother to a black son who still has to struggle with an undercurrent of institutionalized racism.

And with that comes a vastly different perspective of daily life in the United States.

In this powerful message, Lisa shares her profound thoughts on recent events, how we’re all processing our anger in different ways, and how we can use our voices to finally put a stop to generations of racism and ignorance.
