As of July 2012, Weebly has over 12 million users[3][6] and every month, twelve percent of the people in the U.S. visit a Weebly website.[7][8] By August 2011, Weebly powered two percent of the Internet.[9]
Weebly’s headquarters are located in San Francisco.[4][7] The company was originally founded by CEO David Rusenko, CTO Chris Fanini, and COO Dan Veltri.[4][10]
Time ranked Weebly number four out of the 50 Best Websites of 2007.[1] Weebly has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, the San Francisco Chronicle, andNewsweek.[7][10][11][9] Vikitech, Business Insider, and InGeek have also all recognized Weebly as one of the top Google Chrome apps.[12][13][14] David Rusenko, Weebly’s CEO and co-founder, earned a spot in Forbes’ 2011 “30 Under 30” list.[8]
