We're 1 Year Old! Hi edX student,    We celebrated our 1st birthday this past month – what a year it's been.   Just 12 months ago, two universities – Harvard and MIT – came together to launch edX. We had a vision to provide world-class education to everyone, everywhere. Other leading institutions around the world also shared this vision. Early partner UC Berkeley was first to contribute. Soon, the University of Texas System, Georgetown, Wellesley and others joined the effort – as of our 1st birthday we’re 27 global members strong with 31 brand new courses just launched.
