Meet Karen Brailsford, award-winning author and licensed spiritual practitioner with the Agape International Spiritual Center in Los Angeles. We are delighted to have Karen join us for the Dalai Lama Global Vision Summit: The Power of Compassion, a free online event from October 14-18.
Karen Brailsford is the author ofSacred Landscapes of the Soul: Aligning with the Divine Wherever You Are. She has spent more than two decades covering arts and culture as a staff writer and editor with publications such as Newsweek and Elle. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times Book Review, Black Enterprise, Unity magazine, and more. The native New Yorker and Yale graduate is also a literary agent with Aevitas Creative Management. She serves as the coordinator of One From the Heart, Agape International Spiritual pastoral care ministry.
Karen Brailsford wants participants to experience the power of compassion in her summit session, "The Four Chambers of a Compassionate Heart." She will take time to explain each of the "Four Chambers" – Availability, Appreciation, Acceptance, and Action, and how they each play a role in living more compassionately.
