Mingyur Rinpoche Invites You to Tergar’s 2025–26 TransmissionWelcome to this year's transmission! This year, we will focus more on the essence of the Vajrayana teachings, which is what we call “pure perception.” Pure perception means that we all have this wonderful nature, which is the fundamental quality of our thoughts, emotions, perceptions, even anger, hatred, jealousy, and doubt. For me, it was panic attacks. Depression, loneliness, low self-esteem — name it. There are so many to list. We have what we call the “kleshas” and suffering, right? But when we look at the essence of all this, it's wonderful, actually. It's like the sky and the clouds. The sky is wonderful, right? The sky is beyond pollution, beyond clouds. The sky is pure, present, and in a way, sky is indestructible. Nobody can harm the sky. You cannot block the sky. You cannot burn the sky. It's there. At the same time, the sky is allowing everything — the clouds, the pollution, the earth, the mountains. The entire universe is in the sky or in space. Similarly, we have this wonderful nature. The essence of all these kleshas and suffering is awareness, love and compassion, and wisdom — these three together in unity. When we recognize that it is with us and all beings, that is called “pure perception.” We will introduce these teachings with videos, webinars, interviews, group discussions, and courses. So you will learn these things and practice applying them in your lives through what we call “the view, meditation, and application.” The view is to understand, practice is the meditation, and applying it in everyday life is application. Hopefully these things will really benefit you in your own practice, in your life, and you will discover these wonderful qualities within yourself and the people around you. — Mingyur Rinpoche |
