Managing Relationships During Coronavirus Quarantine

“When you look at your own mind, all the imaginary differences between yourself and others automatically dissolve and the ancient prayer of the Four Immeasurables becomes as natural and persistent as your own heartbeat”. Mingyur Rinpoche
The strain that coronavirus is having on all our lives can be overwhelming. And it may be affecting our relationships with those closest to us. This week we offer teachings and practice to help ease the strain, open the heart, and nurture appreciation.
Mingyur Rinpoche How to Nurture Relationships in Self-isolationSome of us are in self-isolation and miss seeing our friends and family. Others of us are challenged by spending more time than ever with the same small group of family members or roommates. Regardless of who or where they are, we can nurture our relationships with appreciation, love, and compassion. Rinpoche will talk about the practice of gratitude as a powerful way to have a healthy relationship with ourselves and others.
Join us for a live-streamed teaching with Mingyur Rinpoche on Sunday, April 19 at 6:00 AM EDT (12:00 CEST).

Simultaneous translation will be available in multiple languages. Visit streaming.tergar.org for the details.
Edwin Kelley The Challenge of Living in Close Proximity with OthersWe all long for healthy and meaningful relationships, and yet they are an area where we most commonly encounter difficulties. Relating with friends, family, coworkers, those we see often, can reveal aspects of ourselves we might not be so comfortable with, or we find that others trigger emotional responses that are overwhelming. If we engage our practice with these challenges we find that it can bring vitality to our relationships and help us to nurture the qualities of love and compassion. We find our practice can help set the ground for healthy relationships.
Join us for a live-streamed teaching with Tergar Instructor Edwin Kelley on Thursday, April 23 at 8:00 PM EDT (2:00 CEST, April 24).
