| How to Become a Candidate for the Second Parliament of Asgardia? |

Elections
for the second Parliament of the Space Nation will take place on 1 Leo
0007 - 2 Leo 0007 (18-19 June 2023). The election campaign is already
underway. All Asgardian residents over the age of 18 are eligible to run
for office.
Every Asgardian can take advantage of this historic opportunity to become a resident and stand for election. The next opportunity will not come until five years later!

How to become a candidate
- Use the link to the Asgardia’s Second Parliament elections page.
- Enter your first name, last name, gender, location (country and city of residence), date of birth.
- Confirm that you accept the Constitution of Asgardia, as amended by the September 2022 Referendum.
- Upload
a scan of your ID (passport, ID, DL, other). The document should show
your photo, document number, date of birth, full first and last name.
- Select
your electoral district. Let us remind you that Asgardia has 13
electoral districts based on the language principle. These include the
12 main languages of the Space Nation spoken by the greatest number of
Asgardians: English, Turkish, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Italian,
Portuguese, German, French, Arabic, Farsi and Hindi. District 13 was
established for speakers of all other languages.
- Please
outline your election programme. Explain to the voters why they should
vote for you, what you aspire to achieve as a member of Parliament of
the world's first Space Nation, what contribution you want to make to
the primary mission of Asgardia - creating conditions for full-fledged
human life in outer space, giving birth to the first human child in
outer space.

As per Decree No. 70
of the Head of the Space Nation, Dr. Igor Ashurbeyli, the registration
of candidates will last until 1 Leo 0007 (18 June 2023). Voting will
take place on 1 Leo 0007 – 2 Leo 0007 (18-19 June 2023).
